Berkeley Flowers
Something I loved about living in California, and which I was reminded of on this most recent visit, was that something was always in bloom. The land and cityscapes were never without flowers of some kind. Some flowers bloomed year-round, others annually, but in such display of color as to be intoxicating.
This back street in Berkeley has been overgrown with morning glory and other vines. Three different kinds of flowering vines, all covering the sides of the buildings, fences, garages, houses. An intoxicating and overwhelming display of profligate flowering sexuality.
